Our client is reputable Legal 500 law firm across the Crawley area, who are now seeking a Compliance Officer to be a key member of the Risk team, coming on board to raise awareness of regulatory requirements and compliance procedures. The role

Main responsibilities
The key aspects of this role will be:
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of all relevant legislation and regulations
- Have an oversight of regulatory compliance to include SRA, GDPR, Anti Money Laundering, and insurance distribution directive
- Further developing policies
- Maintaining a register of policies
- Ensuring all policies and procedures remain fully compliant
The person
You will be right for this compliance officer position if you have:
- Experience of working within a regulated environment
- Experience of working with accredited quality management systems
- Experience in creating policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of GDPR is essential
- Good knowledge of SRA, Anti-money laundering procedures, and Quality management systems is essential
