Personal Injury Paralegal RTA - The claimant RTA team of this leading national firm is now looking for a Paralegal to help support the more experienced fee earners with a range of tasks.

- Previous Experience: Any relevant experience in RTA and personal injury would be advantageous but is not absolutely necessary.
Introduction to the personal injury team
Our client is a leading claimant personal injury firm with offices located throughout the country. The RTA team is made up of a mixture of fee earners including personal injury paralegals, legal executives and solicitors. Their lawyers advise claimants on a range of personal injury matters from Portal work to small claims litigation and fast track work all the way up to complex multi-track and serious injury matters.
Duties and responsibilities
The role of Paralegals within the team is to support the more experienced lawyers with their caseloads. Tasks which you may be required to undertake include:
- witness statement drafting
- Instructing medical experts and counsel
- reviewing medical reports
- conducting legal research
- liaising with clients and updating on case progress
- preparing court bundles
- general file administration
Whilst experience of personal injury work may be an advantage, the hiring managers are also willing to consider talented LPC graduates and candidates without any prior experience of RTA or personal injury work.
Career progression
One of the key advantages of this role is that it is within the RTA team of a major, full service, top 100 law firm. As such it represents an excellent way to gain experience at a respected practice. Paralegals within this team may join other departments within the firm. It is also a pathway to securing a training contract.
