Catastrophic Injury Solicitor or Legal Executive - This leading national defendant catastrophic injury team is looking for an experienced solicitor or legal executive to handle a range of challenging and exciting work for this key client.

- Previous Experience: Ideally candidates should have 3 PQE or more in defendant catastrophic injury work or complex multi-track. Experience of either RTA or EL/PL (or both) is desired.
Partner-led team with new offering in complex injury
What makes this role so unique and exciting is that it involves working directly with a highly respected Partner with around 20 years of Catastrophic Injury / Large Loss experience. They have developed a new offering which they have built around this particular client. Due to the resulting increase in workload, the Partner is now recruiting for the right candidate to help manage the caseload allowing the Partner to focus more on business development.
As such, the role offers an excellent opportunity to progress as the team grows and they are certainly looking for someone who is at that stage in their career where they are looking to take a step up.
More about the nature of the cases
Work can range up to £5m in terms of value and concerns a broad variety of chronic pain cases. This is a niche team working collaboratively from various offices throughout the country. The team focuses in particular on complex and challenging chronic pain cases for a key client of the firm and is set to grow considerably over the coming year or so.
The successful candidate will report into the Partner heading up this specialist offering. They are looking for an experienced lawyer who is keen to cut their teeth on engaging work and ultimately assist the Partner in rolling out the offering to other clients.
Candidate requirements
Applicants should have proven litigated personal injury either complex muli-track or beyond. Experience from a defendant perspective, roughly 3 PQE or above would be ideal.
They should be passionate about complex injury and about delivering an excellent service for their client. The role presents a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most respected lawyers in this area, whilst offering real scope for progression.
