Social Housing Associate | International Law Firm | Oxford | Salary Dependent on Experience

The Firm:

This highly ranked firm has UK offices in London, Birmingham, Oxford, Cambridge, Guildford and they are growing their overseas presence with offices in Singapore, Paris and Madrid. 

The Role:

As the new Social Housing Associate you will be dealing with: 

• Acquisitions and development of affordable housing.
• Leading appropriate transactions (with supervision and support as required) including all aspects of drafting, negotiation, dealing with conditions precedent and completion;
• The due diligence on development schemes
• Rectification work including variations to section 106 agreements, nomination agreements and title documents
• Working with other team members to deliver larger projects
• Assisting with the training and development of junior team members
• Ensuring compliance with professional duties and the firm’s internal procedures
• Demonstrating required knowledge and keep up to date with developments in the law
• Participating in firm-wide and sector training sessions

Criteria: 

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with 1- 4 PQE
• Dealing with the management of your own files, from inception to completion
• Relevant experience in the Real Estate
• Ideally relevant experience within the Social Housing Sector
• Ability to work on tight timescales
• Interest in business development
