Regulated Funds Lawyer, In-house

This highly profitable US asset manager is well known for its collegiate culture.  Over the last 5 years it can boast very impressive European growth which has led to a real buzz in the London office coupled with the desire to continue to achieve.  The legal team pride themselves on providing high quality, seamless and efficient legal services to the business.

In line with this growth they are building the legal capacity in their City-based office.  A vacancy has arisen for a funds lawyer to focus on regulated funds: liaising with Sales & Marketing at the beginning of the process to drafting and amending fund documentation, interacting with the regulator through to launch.   

With at least 4 years pqe’, you will be a technically strong funds lawyer with a strong background in UK funds – OIECs and/or Unit Trusts.  Experience of the FCA regulated environment is essential and some prior knowledge of UCITS would benefit your application.  You will be a strong communicator and a doer who loves getting involved in a wide range of work and thrives on unlocking complex issues.
