Legal Counsel, Anti-Counterfeit, MENA

CLIENT: We have a retained agreement to work with one of world's largest and successful FMCG businesses, with their need to recruit a new Anti-Counterfeiting (ACF) lawyer. You can be based from either Cairo or Dubai, though other Middle Eastern hubs may also suit.

ROLE: This is a very pro-active position, where the ACF lawyer will be required to partner with the business and fight to protect IP across world leading brand names. You'll be implementing strategy, managing risk, leading and coordinating investigations, and liaising with government and enforcement bodies. You'll need strong leadership and governance skills and a robust personality.

CANDIDATE: There are some key criteria to be taken into consideration:

* It's essential that you have fluent Arabic skills.
* A very strong skills set across IP and anticounterfeiting.
* 5+ years of post-qualified, relevant experience - though non-qualified IP / ACF professionals can also be considered.
* Candidates will need to understand the FMCG and food industry across MENA, and the challenges it faces with regards to ACF.
