Legal Counsel, Global FMCG, MENA

CLIENT: We have a strong relationship with this world leading FMCG food and drinks business. Their operations and products span the globe, and this is an opportunity for a new lawyer to join them in Dubai.

ROLE: Reporting to a GC with a broad regional role, you'll sit as a Cluster Legal Counsel across the MENA market. Each day will involve close contact with regional business groups, as you proactively shape and address challenges within the company, by delivering legal, compliance, regulatory, risk, and reputational management strategies and solutions.

CANDIDATE: There are some key criteria to be taken into consideration:

* You'll need at least 5+ PQE and be a qualified lawyer.
* Fluent Arabic language skills are essential.
* Your skill set can be general corporate and commercial work, ideally with a slant towards FMCG or a multinational company.
* Additional skill sets will ideally cover IP, competition, M&A and employment.
* Crucially, they need someone who has the potential (in time) to progress and be promoted in the region, and moved into a larger role.
