One of our international Law Firm Clients is looking for a new Early Talent Executive to join there London based office, on a permanent and full-time basis with a up to salary up to £40,000. This role is very much a dual role, focusing on both the recruitment and training of the trainees through their two year journey post joining the firm.  This will include the whole start to end recruitment process of each new cohort of trainees - this will include looking after the welfare of trainees and apprentices in the lead up to joining the firm and being the main point of contact. The aim of the role will be to provides a proactive, high-quality and forward-thinking service to both internal and external clients.  The Early Talent Executive will work closely with the rest of the Early Talent team collaboration with the Early Talent lead and have responsibility for supervising the Early Talent Apprentice. The firm offer generous hybrid working of 2 days in the office and the rest from home.

 

Duties on the recruitment side will include working with the Early Talent Lead to design events, marketing campaigns, open days, presentation and other forms of media, summer schemes and virtual work programmes in order to attract and engage with new talent where you will need to continuously develop new and existing relationships with consultants, suppliers, and third-party organisations, plus this hire will be heavily involved in candidate screening, managing applications, organising interviews, psychometric tests and assessment and feedback packs for candidates. The Early Talent Executive will need to be an expert user in recruitment systems and be used to managing end to end recruitment processes.

On the development side responsibilities will involve assisting with seat deployment, trainee forum attendance, group benchmarking meetings, NQ planning, and trainee seat reviews, being the first point of contact for all employee relations and welfare issues within UK Early talent (including future and current apprentices and trainees), organising pre-joining events for future trainee intakes (currently 4 events per annum) and assisting the Early Talent Lead to organise the annual round of Seat Spotlights for first seat trainees. This will involve liaising with legal groups, booking rooms and refreshments.

Applicants require previous graduate recruitment experience, desirably from within a law firm although this is not essential. Candidates will ideally be degree educated and be strong communicators and be able to offer that soft HR skillset of listening and guiding the Trainees as well as getting their buy in to want to join and develop their careers at the firm.  Standard hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm.
