Leading national law firm is looking for a Commercial Disputes / Regulatory Solicitor due to continued growth.

The Team

The team handles substantial commercial, regulatory and public law disputes. They primarily act for public bodies such as local authorities, health trusts, regulators, oversight bodies, statutory bodies, and corporates.

The Candidate
The role will focus on the commercial disputes and regulatory for a range of public sector and private sector clients spanning local government, health and higher education.

You will enjoy exposure to:

- Advising on the merits of bringing and defending claims for breach of contract, mis-selling, negligence and fraud

- Corporate disputes - breach of warranty, unfair prejudice

- Dealing with complex multi-jurisdictional and multi-party litigation

- Financial services disputes

- ADR including mediations and local dispute resolution

- Advising regulators, including on responding to adverse events, interpretation of and use of powers, challenges to enforcement action

- Regulatory/own initiative investigations

Experience of acting for or an interest in public bodies would be advantageous.
