THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a commercial lawyer to join their Brands & Marketing team advising the business in a practical and commercially focused way on all relevant compliance and legal matters
Key responsibilities for the role include:
The successful candidate will be a commercial lawyer from NQ-4 years PQE with a background in media & entertainment, technology, advertising, licensing or digital media gained from Private Practice or In-House.
You will have experience of drafting and negotiating agreements for the supply of services & content licensing, ideally in a media, brands, social media or tech environment A good understanding of contract, commercial and intellectual property law is essential.
The successful candidate will be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be a collaborative team player with a track record of establishing credibility and strong relationships with all level of colleagues across the business.

- Supporting the business on deal making in relation to complex and innovative projects
- Drafting and negotiating agreements with creative agencies, digital partners and talent, and advising upon marketing, PR and brand partnership agreements
- Advising on the production and exploitation of original content
- Advising on branding policy, trademark use and promotional material and activities.
- Drafting and negotiating supplier, development and talent/influencer agreements
- Advising on regulatory and policy compliance
- Developing and maintaining relationships with all levels of the Brands & Marketing team, Regulatory affairs team and with talent and partners
