Description

This Commercial Compliance Analyst role is based in Watford with the requirement of one set day a week in the office, the rest can be worked from home if desired.

Responsibilities:

-To support and deliver a value-added and forward looking first line Compliance function

- To work closely within the business to ensure a Compliance Framework is embedded and being adhered to within the Commercial department.

-To proactively assess and measure design effectiveness and efficiency of key controls to manage key business risks across Commercial teams.

-Act as an early warning mechanism to highlight areas that may be operating outside agreed risk appetites.

-To input into the Compliance dashboard that provides insightful and value added information, indicating the state of controls across the Commercial Function.

-Support and work closely with the operational Commercial Teams to ensure that adequate processes exist across the department. To also ensure that keys risks and control are assessed in accordance with the Compliance Self-Assessment Framework.

-Support and work closely with the operational Commercial Teams to ensure compliance with licence conditions.

-Be responsible for delivering Compliance reviews. Providing recommendations where the control environment could be strengthened, and following up through to implementation.

- Responsible for the day to day running and timely delivery of the annual Commercial Compliance plan.

-Performing other Risk and Compliance related duties that may arise during the course of business.

-The role reports to the Commercial Compliance Manager.

Profile

This Commercial Compliance Analyst role is based in Watford with the requirement of one set day a week in the office, the rest can be worked from home if desired.

Requirements:

● Compliance and audit / compliance monitoring experience (which may encompass business administration, audit, finance, Corporate Governance, Risk Management, IT, BCP / DRP, QA, security and project management) (related qualifications desirable)

● Exposure to strong controls and compliance environments and been part of supporting and developing compliance/control frameworks.

● Ability to write reports to communicate findings and propose solutions.

● Proven experience as a Compliance Analyst.

● High level of integrity and independence whilst also able to successfully partner with the business in meaningful ways through building trusting relationships and connections.

● Excellent communication skills and ability to work successfully with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

● Exposure to working within a regulated industry is desirable.
