- Starting salary of up to £50,000
- Hybrid working (1 or 2 days/month in Taunton)
- 25 days holiday (increasing up to 30)
- Full time role
Who will you join?
A specialist and very successful Personal Injury law firm
What will you do?
- Support the firm to maintain their legal and regulatory requirements
- Requirements relate to the SRA, AML, Anti-bribery, Data Protection, and GDPR
- Investigate and report any breaches/near breaches of regulations and statuses
- Perform compliance risk assessments
- Investigate and deal with client complaints
- Pursue remedial actions
- Continuously identify areas for improvement and promoting technical knowledge and competencies
- Provide training and updates to staff
What will you need?
- To be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive
- Previous compliance & risk experience
- Experience of handling complex complaints
- Detailed knowledge of the SRA Handbook and Civil Procedures Rules (CPR)
- In-depth knowledge of the legal industry’s standards and regulations
- Experience of dealing with GDPR
- Some knowledge of the Personal Injury industry
