The Role:

  • This is a standout opportunity for an Employment Partner to join the firm's dynamic office in Newcastle, with hybrid working in place
  • Earning Legal 500 accreditation, the Employment team undertake a blend of contentious & non-contentious mandates for various local & national employers and employees across the retail, sports & leisure sectors
  • To align with this, you will manage a diverse caseload covering a mixture of claimant & respondent work, including unfair dismissal, discipline & grievance procedures, settlement agreements, Tribunal cases and general corporate & HR support
  • As a Partner, you will also lead the development of the department, supervising the progress of the junior members and liaising with other seniors on growth projects and team management

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A well-established Employment Solicitor with a minimum of 8 years PQE
  • Strong business development capabilities and an entrepreneurial flair
