Description

• Support and maintain existing measures within the firm to comply with data privacy laws
• Keep up to date with recent changes to European data protection law and deliver a programme designed to comply with these
• Work closely with colleagues on technology innovations to ensure seamless data handling practices within the firm
• Assist with designing and maintaining new data protection policies
• Create and deliver training programmes for colleagues on data protection issues and policies
• Assist the rest of the data privacy team in compiling and analysing data
• Engage with global stakeholders to create strong relationships for implementing new practices across the firm

Profile

The successful candidate will be a qualified lawyer with proven experience in data privacy and data handling issues. The candidate will have experience working with commercial contracts and engaging with business stakeholders. The candidate will have a strong understanding of technical processes and be able to advise on these accordingly. Excellent IT skills are essential, as well as an ability to work under pressure.

Experience working in risk is desirable, and of working in a corporate environment. Ideally, the candidate would also have a relevant data privacy qualification such as CIPP/ E and/or CIPM.
