Our leading international law firm client has an amazing opportunity for a Graduate Recruitment and Development Coordinator to join their London office on a full-time permanent basis. This position is responsible for providing support the full cycle of graduate recruitment, selection, onboarding, seat rotation and qualification processes for trainee solicitor cohorts and assist with transactional, cyclical and ad-hoc HR generalist work as required alongside the wider HR team. Key duties will include: Graduate RecruitmentResponding to incoming graduate recruitment queriesProviding support for all elements of on and offsite recruitment activities including law fairs, campus events, assessment days and vacation schemesCollating and circulating feedback and managing wash up sessionsManaging ad-hoc work experience programmes including liaising with candidates, induction scheduling and overseeing candidate experienceResponsibility for running the US summer associate programme in London Graduate OnboardingManaging the pre-employment screening process and completing Right To Work checksCompleting any necessary visa applications and related immigration processes in line with Home Office regulationsDrafting and sending out offer documentation and employment contractsManaging induction processes for new trainee cohorts in conjunction with the Learning & Development teamFull onboarding of all new trainees and vacation scheme attendees including setting up on HR systems and with payroll DevelopmentPastoral support and regular check ins with trainee cohortsCollecting and collating trainee review comments at mid seat and end of seatManaging the seat rotation process in consultation with supervisorsPreparing and completing the qualification process in conjunction with Training Principal Job Requirements: Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with internal and external clients and stakeholdersExcellent attention to detailProactive and autonomous, comfortable to escalate where appropriateAdvanced time management skills, able to prioritise effectively and handle multiple deadlinesTeam orientated and able to build and maintain relationships across the firmConfident to share ideas and opinions and able to influence othersHands on approach to all aspects of the role Candidates should ideally have at least 1-2 years' recruitment experience either within a law firm, other professional services environment or graduate recruitment background. Strong academics to at least degree level and an interest in the legal market would also be desirable.
