Sellick Partnership are currently working with a popular South London Council to recruit a Childcare Solicitor on a part time basis to join their busy team on a locum contract.
The assignment will begin on an initial 3 month contract with a view for extension. The successful Childcare Solicitor will be working part time for two or three days per week. Office attendance is required once a month.
Our client is seeking a capable Childcare Solicitor who can hit the ground running and come on board as soon as possible. There is no advocacy required in this role but advocacy can be picked up if desired.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Care cases and pre-proceedings
- Emergency protection orders
- Exclusion orders
- Non-accidental injury
- PLO files
Our client is open to considering applications from candidates from both public and private sector backgrounds as long as there is relevant public childcare experience demonstrated. Our client is also open to considering newly qualified lawyers who have public child care experience.
