Wealth Planning & Contested Probate Lawyer - Consultancy Work | City of London, Remote | £150 - £250 per hour

A rare opening with a ranked boutique London law firm that is looking to expand its consultancy model.

The firm is currently looking to engage with Wealth Planning & Contested Probate Lawyers on a consultancy basis;  this role offers the successful candidate the chance to further their legal career in the Private Client sector, working with and learning from the best.

The Firm: 

• The firm specialises in providing advice to entrepreneurs, investors, growth businesses and family businesses.
• The firm's consultant lawyers do not need to have a book of business, as they are provided with pre-qualified work directly from the firm that has already gone through the necessary verifications and AML checks.
• Consultant lawyers are not exclusive to the firm and can work on other work streams alongside this.
• Their workload will flex according to their capacity and can also be 100% remote.

The Role: 

• The firm is ideally looking to engage with a lawyer on a consultancy basis, who can handle both wealth planning and contested probate matters. However, if candidates have experience in one, not the other, they are still encouraged to apply.
• Successful candidates can expect to advise clients on a range of succession planning matters, personal tax and wealth planning/management along with contested probate.
• Successful consultants will have full back-office support with the firm handling all AML checks, terms of engagement, payment on account, billing and credit control.

Your Profile: 

Candidates for the Wealth Planning & Contested Probate Lawyer role will need to demonstrate:

• Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales
• Upwards of 10 years PQE in handling a full range of wealth planning and contested probate matters
• Experience gained within notable law firms and/or in-house legal teams
• A genuine desire to work on a consultancy basis
• An entrepreneurial mindset
