Are you a Childcare Lawyer looking to develop your expertise in a well-regarded London local authority?
If you are a Childcare Lawyer with strong experience in local authority and the public sector then you do not want to miss out on this fantastic opportunity! We are working with a reputable and thriving council to help them find a proactive Childcare Lawyer to join their welcoming and friendly team on a locum basis.
This is an initial 3 month contract with the view to extend on a rolling basis. This council offers predominantly remote working but require the successful candidate to be in the office once per week.
The Childcare Lawyer will hold a caseload of child protection matters, including:
- Care cases
- Pre-proceedings
- Liaising with counsel and other legal parties
- Working with and advising social workers
Some prior relevant local authority experience in child protection is desirable for this role, but any legal background is welcome, i. private practice or public sector.
