A great career progression opportunity has come up for a Family Paralegal to join a well-established firm in Merseyside. This firm offers great progression and can see you obtaining a Training Contract, as the firm only recruit Trainee Solicitors internally.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a family department, which undertakes private as well as public work. The ideal candiate will have at least 6 months experience of working in a family department and will be comfortable communicating with clients face to face and over the telephone. The work will mainly be matrimonial work, with a small percentage of public funded childcare matters to also get involved in, thus, giving you exposure acorss the board. The firm want the candidate to be compassionate, have great communication skills, both written and oral, and be very well organised with their work.
The team comprises of 5, all at different levels and gives you the opportunity to work one on one with partners, which will aid massively in career development. This firm has a large family department across their multiple offices, dealing with both legal aid and private family work and so there is plenty of support available, and opportunity to work with colleagues from the other offices. The firm are really keen to progress their staff from within and so prefer to give out Training Contracts to internal staff.
