Locum Litigation Paralegal
£20 - 25 per hour

Remote Working
A fantastice public sector organisation in the South East is looking to recruit a locum litigation paralegal on a 6 month + basis with the strong likelihood of extension.
This role requires litigation experience. The successful candidate will be able to personally have conduct of legal files covering all sections of the council predominantly but not exclusively in the following areas of legal practice:
Mainly working in the prosecutions team and preparing Single Justice Process (SJP) files for littering and other ancillary criminal matters. Ful training will be given on the SJP processes
Community and Environment / Public Protection including: environmental health, environmental protection, public health, food and safety and licensing
General Civil and criminal litigation matters
Daily duties will include:
- To participate in and assist generally with the provision of a comprehensive legal service to all departments which includes liaising with professional officers, councillors, external organisations and members of the public
- Undertaking research and supporting lawyers in legal services including administrative support; the preparation of trial bundles, photocopying and legal research
Our client is looking for candidates with substantial local government experience.
The role is remote working in the South East.
