Data Breach/Data Protection Litigation Solicitor/Barrister 3+ years’ PQE/Call BRISTOL

Large commercial law firm in Bristol is looking to recruit a Data Breach/ Data Protection Litigation Solicitor or Barrister of 3 or more years’ PQE/Call. The team has extensive experience of breaches and cyber and data risk incidents (helping clients of all sizes, from SME’s to large corporates, charities, medical and educational organisations) and they assist clients through their crisis, defending any regulatory investigation and privacy litigation that follows. They are a preferred legal services provider to the Cyber and Data Risk insurance industry which ensures a regular and growing flow of data breach matters. The team typically acts as the first responder, coordinating the breach and forensic investigation alongside providing legal advice. The successful candidate will have regular client contact and be given responsibility for leading on exciting and fast-paced breach notifications often making time pressured and critical decisions (many of these matters are high profile and in the public domain). You will also take responsibility for supervising some of the more junior lawyers in the team.
