Charities (Commercial) lawyer 3+ years’ PQE LONDON

Well-regarded law firm in London is looking to recruit a Charities (Commercial) lawyer of 3 or more years’ PQE. The team draws on the full spectrum of services offered by the firm to tend to its many prominent clients. They advise clients on an array of issues that impact charities (and others involved in the sector) including fundraising and commercial arrangements, collaborations, mergers, restructuring and registrations, as well as regulatory compliance and governance matters. They also provide advice to charities across other areas of law such as Real Estate, Employment, IP/trademarks and litigation work. The successful candidate will advise a range of institutional and household name charities on a wide variety of regulatory, governance, commercial and corporate matters and also advise high net worth individuals and well-known corporates on their philanthropic giving, including setting up charitable foundations, and advising on (and negotiating) collaborations and funding agreements. You will draft complex documents, making use of appropriate precedents. Furthermore, you will apply a commercial approach to research and evaluate relevance and accuracy in delivery of advice. You will manage a substantial and varied workload and, where appropriate, you will delegate, co-ordinate and supervise the work of more junior members of the team.
