Planning Solicitor/Barrister 2+ years’ PQE/Call LONDON

Well-regarded law firm in London is looking to recruit a Planning Solicitor or Barrister of 2 or more years’ PQE/Call. Much of the work involves large scale development and infrastructure projects. You’ll work as part of a team of Associates on one or more major projects whilst having the opportunity to run smaller matters with appropriate supervision from a senior practitioner or partner. Working independently or as part of a larger team, the candidate will be responsible for advising clients on all aspects of the Planning law and procedure, including: • Working in large teams on major infrastructure projects securing Development Consent Orders • Developing and implementing planning strategies for securing the necessary consents for major urban regeneration and city scape projects • Supporting contentious matters, for example judicial review and land compensation claims • Statutory agreement work including section 106 and s278 agreements • Advice on statutory powers, especially CPO • Other public sector procedures/requirements including S203, best consideration.

You will also support colleagues in Real Estate and Finance, providing Planning transactional support.
