A local authority based in Bedfordshire is seeking a Commercial Contracts Lawyer for an initial period of three months. This is an interim role offered on a hybrid working basis.
The successful Commercial Contracts Lawyer will be required to undertake the following duties:
- Give advice in relation to highly complex matters
- Deal with legal matters relating to UK and EU contract and public procurement law
- Carry out a range of work including drafting necessary legal documents, legal letters, consents, and by-laws as well as negotiating agreements, settlements etc.
- Draft and negotiate contracts of all types
As this is a hybrid working role, you will need to attend the office a few times each month. Local government experience is advantageous. EU procurement experience is essential.
Candidates must be available on no more than 2 weeks’ notice.
