Construction Solicitor

Our client is looking to appoint a Construction Solicitor to join their specialist team. The role is to focus primarily on contentious construction matters acting for clients across the region.

The client is a large commercial regional law firm with an office in central Leeds. The firm is ranked by the legal directories for Construction law and this is an exciting time to join the firm as it looks to grow the team. The firm is a full service law firm and they can offer progression to Partnership for the successful candidate.

Description

The Construction Solicitor will work with the existing Partner and deal with primarily contentious matters. This will include acting for contractors, developers, retail clients and specialist sub contractors. The team advise clients in the engineering sector and also rail and telecoms. The successful candidate will pick up a caseload and also support on business development activities.

Profile

You will be a Construction Solicitor who deals with contentious work and this role would suit a lawyer at a mid to senior level who is looking for Partnership in the short to medium term. Our client would also consider Partners who have some of their own contacts.
