Corporate Legal Counsel

This national legal services provider has a new opening for an in-house counsel to join its established legal team. The work will be M&A focussed and require overseeing corporate work streams, provision of legal advice in relation to acquisitions and disposals. The successful candidate will have regular exposure to the Board be able to offer confident guidance to the C-Suite and advice around risk and commercial strategy.  There will be variety and other responsibilities may include commercial contracts, sponsorship agreements, charity JVs, data privacy and legal regulation. There will be plenty of scope for career development and this is a great opportunity for a lawyer in private practice seeking a transition in-house or for an ambitious legal counsel seeking a more strategic position. The firm has offices in London and nationwide but has an agile policy so office based work is optional.
