Internal Risk/Compliance advisor required for leading UK law firm
A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Regulatory/Risk advisor to join their internal team advising departments on a specific area of regulation and compliance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing complex advice and resolution to ensure the firm meets its regulatory and legal obligations.
Candidates will also be required to manage, liaise, provide guidance and advice to internal stakeholders as well as liaising with external regulators.
Candidates should possess the following criteria to apply:
- At least 2 years compliance experience at a UK law firm or legal in-house function.
- Excellent knowledge of on-boarding processes.
- Extensive knowledge of SRA standards and regulations and be able to provide advice in relation to the application of these principles.
- Be legally qualified – LLB, LLM, LPC, or Solicitor.
