About the role:

Reporting to the General Counsel and working closely with Heads of Compliance, Sustainability, Assistant Company Secretary and other business stakeholders, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the reviewing, drafting and agreeing a wide variety of documents (to include contracts, terms and conditions, policies and processes, engagement letters, exclusivity agreements) relevant to day-to-day business.
• Drafting and negotiation of all NDAs. Responsibility for execution and subsequent electronic filing on the systems.
• Provide support to the GC in liaising with and instructing external counsel for the business and the company's fund clients and contribute to developing relations with panel law firms.
• Undertake legal research as required by the GC and assist the GC with horizon scanning developments in the law that are relevant to the firm and its clients.

About you:

The role will best suit someone with an LLB or GDL (however not LPC) and strong commercial contracts experience, ideally in the financial services sector. You will be hard-working, flexible and understand the fast pace and a demanding nature of the in-house environment.
