Our client is a leading global law firm – they are now looking to recruit an experienced Senior Learning & Development Manager to join their team in London. 

The L&D team is responsible for ensuring that everyone across their global network has the same opportunity to benefit from learning and development, whilst providing guidance on career development and supporting in the delivery of regional and international learning requirements. 

You will have previous L&D Manager experience gained from a law firm or a professional services firm. 

The standard hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm. The salary on offer is up to £80,000 + Benefits. This role is a permanent position, and the client are currently using a hybrid working approach. 

Responsibilities as a Senior Learning & Development Manager: 

  • Leadership of the L&D function
  • Management of the firm's development programmes
  • Provide coaching and support to staff on a one-to-one basis as and when
  • Oversee the provision of technical legal training
  • Manage and oversee development of content / curriculum and delivery of compulsory training
  • Assist with the rollout of firm-wide training
  • Source suitable training providers, venues and external courses
  • Oversee the content / design of the L&D pages on the intranet
  • Manage the global L&D budget
  • Line management of the L&D team (two L&D Advisers) 

Requirements as a Senior Learning & Development Manager: 

  • Previous L&D Manager experience
  • Previous experience gained from a law firm or professional services firm
  • Ideally a postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject
  • Previous programme management experience of a range of learning
  • Significant experience designing, delivering and evaluating development activities
  • Highly skilled on all MS Office applications
  • Ability to be flexible to meet the demands of the work
