European IT Trainer

A prestigious US Law Firm is looking to hire a new IT Trainer for both London and Europe on a permanent basis to design and deliver technical training for all lawyers and staff. A salary of up to £55,000 is on offer plus fantastic benefits.

Responsibilities for the IT Trainer will include delivering classroom training, one-on-one and distance training sessions, analyse training requirements and arrange training for staff and lawyers in the firm’s European Offices(i.e., London, Brussels, Frankfurt and Paris), and any other of the Firm’s offices if necessary, gathering, organize, and edit information to include in documentation, announcements for software upgrades, creating documentation and training videos, working collaboratively with the IT Department globally, but be able to work independently, customize European office training initiatives to reflect local needs, formulating, develop and communicate new training initiatives, assisting in maintaining online training registration and information database, assisting in technical assessment of new-hire candidates. Other duties will include designing, develop and maintain training documentation to include User guides (quick reference cards, quick tips, software manuals), online help and web pages, participate in various IS Department projects and provide second level support to users and other IS Department areas, evaluate and test new software.

Candidates need to have a minimum of 5 years IT Training experience within a professional services environment, preferably within a law firm in addition to advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent communication and organisation skills.
