Senior Contracts Lawyer

Contracts Locum

Venn Group’s specialist legal recruitment team is currently working with a Local Authority who are among the fastest growing parts of the country and one of the most diverse London boroughs. Known for their interesting workloads and strong team ethos, they are recruiting for a Locum Contracts Lawyer to join their legal department.

This is an Inside IR35 full-time role (36 hours per week), 12 months Fixed term contract, with flexible working available

Some of the responsibilities include:

1. Dealing with varied contracts
2. Handling residential housing and commercial contracts
3. Dealing with contracts surrounding regeneration, IT, works and service contracts and framework agreements

The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Must be a qualified solicitor or barrister or legal executive with a current practising certificate.
2. Good working knowledge of contracts law
3. Experience of providing legal services relevant to Local Government

The hourly rate for this is competitive and candidates may either be provided with a council laptop or use their own.
