Legal Counsel sought for well established business at the forefront of the energy, renewables and utilities sector. Our client has European roots but a global presence.

This is a quality In-House disputes opportunity which offers exciting work including projects within the sphere of energy and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

You will be required to deliver litigation and dispute resolution advice across the business. You can expect to manage and resolve disputes on wide-ranging issues such as, defects, delay and disruption, loss and expense and variations claims, payment disputes etc. An excellent knowledge of the suite of construction contracts is crucial and a working knowledge of PFI contracts is sought after.

Responsibilities:

  • Qualified Solicitor, 6+ years PQE*
  • Personable, robust, confident and have a flexible attitude
  • Knowledge of construction matters (e.g. the Construction Act and CDM Regulations) (essential)
  • Commercial litigation and ADR experience (essential)
  • Experience with (disputes involving) PFI contracts (desirable)
