Senior Technology Role - London
A global, listed company is hiring a Senior Lawyer to influence the business and facilitate expansion in the EMEA region. Their platform helps clients operate more efficiently and innovatively in this digital era and is experiencing continued growth. This is a position focusing on complex and high-value commercial, technology, and outsourcing matters, with potential to manage an entire industry vertical.
This will be an autonomous role within an established global legal function. It will be a varied role, with the opportunity to be involved in a broad range of commercial, technology, IT, IT services, data privacy, and IP matters, relevant to a global pre-eminent provider of business process services.
The work would include:
- Leading the negotiation of multi-million services agreements including MSAs, bespoke strategic deals, partnering and reseller agreements
- Exposure to senior stakeholders and representing the legal team both internally and externally
- Developing the legal skills of other lawyers within the UK legal team with potential management responsibility in time
- Advising senior business colleagues on ad hoc legal questions, including compliance, intellectual property, privacy, and employment
You must be a UK qualified with 10+ years PQE in a law firm or an in-house legal position in a multinational tech organisation. To be considered for this position you must have advised on large value master service agreements, or other commercial agreements with complex IP, licensing, and privacy issues. Experience within IT outsourcing, consultancy, IT licensing, AI sectors is to be preferred. This is an autonomous role, as part of a collaborative team.
