Leading West Midlands firm seeks to welcome a Head of Family to one their offices due to the retirement of a senior family lawyer.

The Firm

This opportunity is with a reputable mid-size full service law firm that has grown substantially throughout their history. They now have multiple offices throughout the West Midlands and Staffordshire area and are known in the area as a friendly, competitive firm with a strong client base.

The Role

As Head of the Family department you would lead a team of fee earners and legal support staff, assisting with any necessary guidance and support. You will also be entrusted with your own caseload of privately funded family matters from a strong referral network, with a particular focus on divorces and finances.

The current incumbent who has announced retirement is one of the Midlands leading family lawyers. This role is ideally suited to a Senior Family Lawyer looking to progress into, or is already at, Head of Department level.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected, expanding firm in a senior capacity.

The Requirements

• Over five years PQE
• Qualified Family Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
• Experience managing a privately funded family caseload
• Ambition or ability to manage and lead a team
