Exciting new role has arisen to work as Head of Legal for Real Asset Funds to work in the legal team of a top asset manager. This role supports the Real Asset business and its strategic objectives, heading a small team.
The purpose of the role is to provide transactional support and legal support to the Real Asset business in relation to real asset funds (real estate, infrastructure and debt) and corporate real estate transactions and joint ventures.
There will be a particular emphasis on fund creation, structuring and related documentation. You will also work on common Jersey and English private investment structures, as well as Lux fund structures, including JPUTs, REITS, limited partnerships, RAIFs and SICAVs.
The successful candidate will be at least 7 years’ qualified and has an excellent working knowledge in alternative investment and other unregulated funds in the real asset space.
Good technical expertise of UK, Jersey and Lux find structures is crucial. The ideal candidate has an extensive legal and technical experience gained from a relevant role in a law firm or in-house position within an investment business. Previous managerial experience is an advantage, but not a must.
