Legal Counsel

Legal Counsel | Derbyshire | £40,000.00 - £45,000.00 per annum

A rare opening within a highly sought-after, prestigious company for a new Legal Counsel to join them in-house;  this role offers the successful candidate the chance to further their legal career, working with and learning from the best.

The Role: 

• Working closely with the General Counsel, you will be in a broad general in-house position and will support on a variety of matters including contracts, litigation, property and compliance.
• Day to day you will be drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts, providing advice on commercial property matters which could include drafting leases and licences and assisting the legal team with governance and compliance matters.
• As well as this, there will be the opportunity to get involved in project work across the business.

The Offer: 

• This will be a junior role with a starting salary of £45,000.
• The organisation have a wealth of flexibility and requires individuals to be in the office for 2 days per week.
• With this opportunity, prior contracts / in-house experience is not required as the business is happy to re-train and look at individuals from all practice backgrounds, providing that they have a UK practising certificate.
