Job Title: PA to Managing Partner
Salary: £53,000
Location Central London
International law firm in the City are looking for a PA to the managing partner. Legal is experience is not required as they are looking for someone with the right skill sets. The role will include all diary management and travel arrangements but also producing and formatting documentation and correspondence.
Duties to include:
- Extensive and complex diary management, often over several time zones, and troubleshooting scheduling conflicts
- Proactively anticipating the partners’ needs in advance of meetings, conferences, etc. and taking action to ensure they are properly prepared
- Typing and amending documents including correspondence, agreements, and digital dictation
- Travel management to include hotels, taxis and transfers, flights, currency, visas etc. and creating detailed travel itineraries
- Drafting, amending, and proof-reading agendas, Power Point presentations and other pitch documents
- Arranging events, lunches, dinners, seminars, and meetings including sourcing restaurants and private hire venues
- Carrying out conflict checks on new clients and collating the KYC documentation
- Proof reading documents
- Tracking expenses
- Anticipating potential issues and understanding priorities
- Assisting with confidential projects
Substantial experience as a PA is essential as this is a busy role, and ideally you will have supported partners at senior, managing or board level. The ability to multi-task, deal with highly confidential documents and information, and organise a busy workload is also essential. You must also be an excellent communicator as you will be dealing with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
