Established UK law firm with offices over the UK are seeking a Paralegal to join their London office in a permanent basis as a new addition their Construction team. This role would suit a Paralegal at the start of their career, that is hard working and has a keen interest in construction law, capable of working in a team, with strong attention to detail and a strong academic background.
The role is within the firms Construction team one of the areas the firm specialise in most. The role is varied, work ranges freely across all sectors of the construction industry, from negotiating and drafting every type of construction documentation to handling disputes, from house refurbishment projects to multimillion pound claims, as well as adjudications, domestic and international arbitrations and litigation in the Technology and Construction Court. Initially the Construction Paralegal will assist with one specific client portfolio in the short-term, before then moving onto more general Paralegal duties. The role will include:
- Collating documents
- Diarising dates
- Cleint Liaison
- Drafting progress reports and client claim reports
- Drafting third part correspondence
- Assisting the instruction of technical experts and arranging inspections.
This is a full-time role. The firm operate a hybrid working policy although this would initially be office based to familiarise candidates with the role. Salary for this role is up to £26,000.
