Project Manager - (Legal Technology / Law Firm Tech experience required)

An exciting role has become available for a Project Manager to join a leading Legal Technology Consultancy firm. They specialise in Legal Tech applications and work with some of the biggest Law Firms and In House Corporate Legal Departments globally.

The main responsibilities in this role include the planning, management, coordination and financial control of a project. You will also ensure that a project is completed on time and within budget, that the project's objectives are met and that everyone else is doing their job properly. There will be an emphasis on project to delivery of legal based products, including document management, case/matter management, contract management, as well as document assembly / automation, document security, and document collaboration tools.

Main duties:

  • Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensuring resource availability and allocation
  • Developing a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Reporting and escalating to management as needed
  • Managing the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Making sure that quality standards are met
  • Reporting to the client and senior stakeholders on progress
  • Evaluating the success of the project against its benchmarking and sharing lessons or best practice with other organisations or project managers.
  • To recommend changes to procedures and processes.

Experience, Knowledge and skills required:

  • Managing all phases of the project software implementations
  • Strong Leadership skills, with a demonstrable background of resource management, motivating and coaching
  • Client-facing consultancy experience with legal organisations
  • Legal Technology Application experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Prince 2 or PMP or working in an Agile environment would be required
