Legal Counsel - Data Protection

Our client is a leader in online security. Their software is used globally and supported from a network of international offices.

The company is looking to hire a Legal Counsel to be based in London and focus on data protection and privacy. Joining a large and well respected legal team, the role will focus on a wide array of data protection related issues including negotiating contracts, supporting other teams such as R&D and product management and advising on security breaches for the company and their customers.

This is a tremendously exciting role. The work is broad and stimulating, at the very cutting edge of this field. The company is also highly successful and growing quickly, which will lead to career opportunities in the future.

Applicants must be qualified in the UK, with at least 5 years' PQE gained predominantly in the data protection/privacy field. Applicants should either come from a similar in-house role or directly from the data protection team in a law firm.

Remuneration: £85K - £90K + Bonus + benefits.
