We are responsible for delivering justice through the independent and effective prosecution of criminal cases that have been investigated by the police, and other investigative organisations. As the principal prosecuting authority across England and Wales the nature and diversity of cases we advise on and prosecute means our work is complex and challenging. As a Paralegal Officer you will provide support and casework assistance to our lawyers based in the magistrates’ or Crown Court. You will have responsibility for preparing casework, managing, and serving evidence and attending court to assist the running of cases from beginning to end. You will be working and communicating with a range of individuals from victims and witnesses to lawyers, counsel, judges and the police, helping to ensure the progression of cases at court.
