Criminal Solicitor, London/Berkshire – Here we have an exciting opportunity for experienced Criminal Solicitors (PSRA Accreditation essential) of all levels of experience to join an established and respected firm of criminal defence solicitors. THE ROLE:
An exciting opportunity has become available for Criminal Solicitors of all experience levels to join an established and highly regarded specialist firm to be based in either Berkshire or London. You will be dealing with a mixed bag of criminal matters which are both privately funded and legal aid, ranging from murder/manslaughter, sexual offenses, non-fatal assaults, theft, fraud, domestic violence, motoring crimes, extradition, immigration, drug offences and public order offences. You may also be handling Youth Court proceedings, vulnerable clients, dangerous offenders, alcohol and motorist charges. You will regularly attending Police Stations and Criminal Courts (candidates must be accredited) therefore own transport would be beneficial. This is being offered on a full-time basis with hybrid working available. You can work from either the Berkshire office or London office.

THE CANDIDATE:
You must be Police Station Accredited (PSRA) and have a proven background in this area of law. Solicitors who are due to qualify will also be considered. You will be required to ‘hit the ground running’ therefore an adaptable, ‘can-do’ attitude will be required in order to deliver high quality service to all clients in a sensitive and effective manner. The successful Criminal Solicitor will be a clear communicator who is organised and efficient, possess a genuine passion for this area of law with a personable and confident approach.
