Corporate Private Capital PSL

THE FIRM

A major UK and international law firm has a newly created role for a Professional Support Lawyer, Corporate - Private Capital, as part of the general Corporate PSL team.

THE ROLE

This will provide the chance to be at the forefront of legal and regulatory changes, and to develop your technical skills.

The topics covered by the general team include corporate law, contract law, M&A, ECM, listed company regulation and corporate governance.

This role will focus on the private capital practice, including clients such as private equity, sovereign wealth funds and growth capital across all sectors. It is an exciting time to join this practice at a time of rapid growth.

THE CANDIDATE

With strong legal skills, you will have at least 5pqe, strong academics, and private capital experience gained at a leading private practice firm

Previous professional support or knowledge experience is not required

The role will include establishing the firm's financial sponsor PSL capability and is strategic and varied.

Key responsibilities will include a combination of the following:

Co-ordination and upkeep of model forms documents to support the private capital practice

Co-ordinating and leading automation and other legal tech initiatives

Managing know-how and precedent repositories

Thought leadership client campaigns and events

Preparing, co-ordinating and presenting client training and internal training, including e-learning

Dealing with technical queries from the Division and across the firm
