Sellick Partnership is delighted to be working with a popular South London Council to recruit a Childcare Solicitor to join their busy team on a locum basis.

The assignment will begin on an initial 3 month contract with a view for extension. The successful Childcare Solicitor will be able to attend the office in South London 1-2 days per week.

Our client is seeking a capable Childcare Solicitor who can hit the ground running and come on board as soon as possible to assist with an increased workload. There is no advocacy required in this role but advocacy can be picked up if preferred.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Care cases and pre-proceedings
  • Emergency protection orders
  • Exclusion orders
  • Non-accidental injury
  • PLO files

Our client is open to considering applications from candidates from both public and private sector backgrounds as long as there is relevant public childcare experience demonstrated. Our client is also open to considering newly qualified lawyers who have public child care experience.
