Newly Qualified Family Solicitor/Experienced Paralegal
Location: Leeds
Chadwick Nott are seeking an Newly Qualified Family Solicitor to join our a highyl reputable law firm with offices throughout Yorkshire . The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal advice and representation to clients with a wide variety of family issues including Domestic Violence and Children working with the most up to date Case Management System.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting initial consultations with clients to understand their legal issues and provide appropriate legal advice.
- Managing a caseload of family law matters from inception to resolution both legally aided and privately funded work and therefore this position in available due to growth and expansion
- Representing clients in court proceedings and negotiations with other parties.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files and ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical requirements.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships and working collaboratively with other team members.
Requirements:
- In order to be considered for this role you must be a newly qualified solicitor or have a minimum of a level 6 ilex qualification, a GDL or an LPC and be available for full time work.
- An more experienced Paralegal wishing to work within a local and nationally recognised award winning team will also be considered.
- Ability to manage a caseload and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong drafting and advocacy skills, with experience representing clients in court.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and support staff.
- Commitment to providing excellent client service and maintaining ethical and professional standards.
