Contracts & Procurement Senior Solicitor, West Sussex, 5+ years, up to £55,000. This Local Authority are currently seeking the support an ambitious Property Solicitor to join their team.

THE ROLE:
This busy public sector body are looking to appoint a talented and committed Senior Solicitor to act as an experienced advisor to officers at all levels on a wide range of contracts, procurement, public law, and constitutional issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating, drafting and providing advice on a wide range of legal and transactional issues. This role offers a new challenge for a well suited to a talented regulatory lawyer, combining complex case management with leadership, and influencing policy within the sector. You should also enjoy working in an intellectual stimulating environment.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcome from Senior Solicitors with over 5 years’ experience in Contracts and Procurement. This role requires excellent prioritisation, meticulous attention to detail which will allow you to update and refresh current policies and procedures to ensure that processes are as efficient as possible to enable the legal arm to work successfully. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to manage a large and varied caseload whilst been able to produce accurate documents. You will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work under minimal supervision, good organisational and communication skills are essential to be successful in this role.
