Property Litigation Associate

My client is seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor/Associate (0-4+ PQE) to join their Real Estate team at their office in Manchester. 

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in litigation proceedings.
• Work collaboratively with the team and other attorneys in the firm on various legal matters.
• Participate in the firm’s marketing activities, including networking events, presentations, and client meetings.
• Maintain and develop client relationships and identify opportunities for new business development.

The successful candidate will regularly handle and assist with the following:

• Service of break notices and advice on their validity and conditionality
• Dealing with lease renewal/termination notices and proceedings under the 1954 Act
• Interpretation and enforcement of leases
• Arrears recovery and tenant insolvency
• Obtaining possession of commercial premises
• Service charge disputes
• Dilapidations
• Development disputes and strategy
