We are working with a law firm based in the Midlands who are looking to recruit a Solicitor to join their banking & financial services litigation team.
Client Details
A growing private practice.
Description
Are you looking to work on top quality litigation work within a small team? Perhaps you are working in a large international firm but struggling to get enough client contact or worried about career progression?
This is a growing litigation specialist practice who are looking to recruit a solicitor to join their Midlands team. You will be part of a small but growing team reporting directly into a senior partner but working closely with colleagues at paralegal through to Associate level.
The team specialise in financial services litigation and class action work. A lot of the work is high profile and you will get direct client contact and will be working on these matters from day one. The pipeline of work in the team is very exciting and this has led to a big recruitment drive. The team is supported by colleagues in London.
This role would suit somebody who wants to work on top quality litigation work but within a smaller setting (without lots of the red tape you might associate with being part of a larger organisation). This will also benefit career progression and your future earnings in the firm.
Profile
It's likely that you will have 1-2y experience in Commercial Litigation working within a leading national or international practice. Experience in Financial Services Litigation would be desirable but not essential but you would need to demonstrate a genuine interest in this area. Due to the ongoing recruitment drive in the team, the team will consider candidates at all levels of PQE. This role would not be suitable for a solicitor wanting to transfer their skillset into a new area of law.
