THE ROLE
A bright and adaptable lawyer is now sought to join the newly created Crypto industry team which sits within the finance group.
You will work closely with a broad range of clients in the Crypto space, and act for most of the biggest institutions in the industry as well as numerous start-ups in the space. The work is specialist and involves advising on crypto products and business models.
The team consists of former in-house lawyers, all of whom have specialist knowledge of technical aspects of the Crypto space, both due to personal involvements and also having worked in crypto companies previously. There is a very close collaboration within the team - it is close-knit, supportive and an enjoyable place to work.
THE CANDIDATE
To be successful in this role, it would be useful to have 3PQE+ and
* knowledge of and interest in crypto, NFT, Web3, metaverse, etc.
* some understanding of tokenomics and crypto business models
* experience of cryptoasset regulation e. token opinions, business structuring, incl. offshoring
* good familiarity with UK financial regulation
* prime brokerage experience (desired but not essential)
