The Team
The team are talented and hardworking and have trained and practiced at top tier UK and US firms. There are a team of generalist corporate commercial lawyers, an employment law specialist, an M&A specialist and they are currently seeking a financial regulation law specialist.
The Role
You can look forward to taking the lead on all financial regulation matters. They are a global company so you will be responsible for advising on international regulations to do with payments and payment regulation. The business may also expand their offering in the future so you can look forward to advising on new products.
You will be liaising with the founders and senior stakeholders on a daily basis and will very much be required to use your commercial acumen as well as your technical legal knowledge. You will also work closely with the chief compliance officer and the wider legal compliance team.
There is also the opportunity to get involved in the broader range of corporate commercial work if you are looking to broaden your skill set.
The Requirements
This In-House Financial Regulations Lawyer would particularly suit a solicitor or associate who is at a Magic Circle, US or top city firm looking to make their first move in-house.
